, the leaves are still falling in Florida. For
those of you who have been waiting for the weather to change
, well who new the cold snaps would keep coming!!

Florida weather is still
the mildest around the nation, even though we have seen
some very cold nights. And yes, it hasn't happened for such
a long time, but it snowed in Florida this week. Wow!!
Fuel
prices have been hovering around the $2.75 to $3.00 range
keeping people on the roads. Not too bad so far this year.
The
Holidays are gone and spring is just around the corner.
So

Florida
beaches are holding on to a few nice days inbetween
the cold fronts , so this might be a good time for a quick
trip down south for some fun in the sand. Sit and watch
the beautiful sunsets with your favorite, maybe warm, beverage!
And there are a few boaters still willing to roam about
the cold waters of the Gulf of Mexico this time of year.
Temperatures
are cooling down quite a bit this month. There
is still some milder days to visit the beach, while waiting
for the daily spectacular sunsets. There has been considerable
rain this season with some beautiful afternoon clouds appearing

The
water temperatures are cool but there is plenty of sunshine
in the afternoons.
In our February
fishing report we are reporting that Sheepshead
might be the fish to go for in the cold waters. Shrimp and
fiddlers being the bait of choice.
In
these cold months redfish begin to thin out a bit. You might
find them near docks, reefs, passes, near inshore rock areas,

After
the cold fronts stop coming, Visitors
bureaus are hopeful that travelers will continue
doing their part for Florida
Hotels and Attractions.. Our vacationers continue
to show stamina and have pressed forward with travel plans.
Florida
Attractions continue to advertise their latest changes
in venues. The Theme parks have been busy planning
their strategies for 2010 preparing new shows and packages
for our vacationers.

Some hotels are offering travel package deals to add to
your vacation plan. Room and rental car packages are the
ticket this time of year also.

Isn't
it time for you and your family to visit Florida? These
Busch Gardens animals seem to be waiting for some friendly
visitors.
The
amusement
parks are not missing a beat so far this year.
New additions and new tourist enticements are still being
worked on and put forth for the rest of 2009.
Travelers
need to keep an eye out for the hotel chains to promote
their special travel packages
for the rest of the year.
For those travelers who plan to sidestep the major attractions
and sightsee more to save money during their stay, a visit

Fans are ready for The Rays to pick up where they left off,
showing a very competitive team spirit and talent.
