first time you spend Christmas in Florida as a tourist or a new resident,
there is a feeling of longing for Cold
Weather and of course, snow! Well, in Florida, snow is not likely
, but most times it is colder during the Christmas holiday. If you
are lucky , it will get cold enough for you to see your breath. It
may seem trivial to some, that people want it cold for Christmas,
but tradition dies hard and because alot of residents of Florida came
from up north the old ways are still alive in Florida. Families still
get together to celebrate, and share good times. Children wait for
Santa to land on the roof, snow or not. It's a good thing he is magical!

you think of Santa, there is a tendency to think of him as the staunch
North Pole dweller who doesn't get out much. We thought you might
like a glimpse of Santa on vacation as we call it. When Santa is
bringing joy to the children of Florida , he must go incognito in
an effort to avoid the media frenzy he might cause. Milk and cookies
are still a big part of his favorite things to snack on, although
he might drink something cold while walking along the Beaches
in Florida. Yeah , maybe a Frappachino instead of hot chocolate
just might be the ticket. Whatever he does , We are glad that Florida
is one of his favorite places to visit!

hustle and bustle that is the case in other places. Many families
and friends are traveling around the state for their annual visit.
Shopping malls are buzzing
with activities and shoppers. This year is no exception despite news
reports on the economy. Santa is posing for pictures with the children
and Christmas music fills the air, while children and parents anxiously
shop for just the right gifts for their loved ones. |
