Vacationing
should be fun, but how many times have you seen tourists looking
like tourists! Unable to move, because their sunburn is bordering
on second degree burns!
I think
you get the idea! Ladies and Gentlemen your health and beauty
aides are just as important as wearing the correct clothing on
vacation. Not to mention your sunglasses, footwear, and hats.
When vacationing in hotter climates, remember to take care of
your skin and hair.
Here is a
potential shopping list to think about before you go on vacation:
SUNSCREEN-for
your face- No lower than SPF30 with UVB/VVA broad spectrum protection.
You will still get color ,but without all the serious burning.
Lipstick or lipgloss are also helpful protectors.

SUNSCREEN
#2 - Yes, thats right! -SPF20-30 for your body. Treat your body
seperately from your face. In order to get the best protection,
remember to reapply sunscreen after you go in the water. You can
also sweat off your sunscreen, so reapply regularly. Don't be
fooled by being at a theme park away from the water, the same
rules apply to skin care there! Be conscious of staying in the
shade when possible, thus reducing your exposure time. Local weather
programs will tell you the times of exposure needed to burn. So
be wise.
AFTER SUN
REHYDRATER- This product actually helps cool down the skin after
an exposure to the sun and surf. As named , rehydrater also helps
put back much needed moisture lost during the day. Keep these
products handy so that they may be applied immediately after leaving
the beach or pool , to start healing right away. By moisturizing
your skin you will be able to retain your tan for a longer period
of time.
|
EVERYDAY
USE SHAMPOO - Because you will be washing your hair more often
on vacation, and your hair can be damaged by the salt and chlorine,
using an everyday shampoo can retain more of the naturally occuring
oils which are necessary for healthy hair. Proper care will also
help fight against the frizzies!
IMPORTANT
NOTES TO REMEMBER: - Sunscreen is a product that filters out burning
and aging rays of the sun while allowing you to get a great color
tone in the process. Any product with lower SPF than 30 will start
allowing the suns rays to cause damage by the time you set up
your blanket and chair.
SO BE CAREFUL
AND HAVE A HAPPY VACATION!!
