Port Canaveral is located on the East coast of Florida in the central part of the state. It is on the Atlantic Ocean for those who are not familiar with the State of Florida. 14 Deep water seaports are a special part of the Florida landscape. Many people take advantage of the fantastic access to these ports of call . At the time of this review, Port Canaveral is home to the following Cruise lines: Carnival Cruiselines- Ships- Sensation & Glory Disney Cruiselines- Ships - Magic & Wonder Royal Caribbean Intl.- Ships - Mariner of the Seas, & Sovereign of the Seas Sterling Casino & Sun Cruz - Ships - Ambassador 2 & Suncruz 12 -Port Canaveral touts: - Six cruise terminals -Three, Four, and Seven day cruises to the Bahamas, Eastern Caribbean , and the Gulf of Mexico, as well as, local day cruises. -Other port amenities are listed later: such as parks and restaurants, etc.

Fresh fish seems to be the theme of about a dozen restaurants near the port with a few bars and grills, not to mention a deli and sub place. There is also a bit of nightlife with live entertainment along the cruiselanes. Dine inside or outside and enjoy the thrill of the vastness of the port and ships moving about.
